Music review page two. Holy Wrath New times for Christian music. I remember when Christian music was more soft and easy tunes with harmonizing voices. Holy Wrath is just that only set to Rap beat. Sad thing about Rap . It was originally meant to incite anger, confusion, and hatred. It's hard to imagine how one can infuse soft feel-good words to the beat of Rap. In Church mentality, there aren't any harsh gritty words. Unless of course you're preaching a fire and brimstone sermon. But that's another story. So it's understandable to see why Rap would not be a good vehicle to promote Christianity. However-Holy Wrath does make a good attempt to carry the message of Jesus Christ to those who live in this drug and crime infested world. Guilty Wilson Guilty Wilson is completely different from Holy Wrath. They are a rock band at heart. Hard and edgy at times. Almost reminds me of a band Cheap Trick. The songs tell of pain and suffering and that there is a better way of living. All you need to do is turn your life to Christ and that's half the battle of getting your act together. Nice lyrics in all the songs. Good picking. For more information: www.nativecprmusic.com H-Factor (1-10) 8 |
